My Approach to Counseling
Very early in life I came to realize the most amazing moments that I can experience are watching people taking developmental steps towards their own personal growth while detaching from the thoughts, beliefs, and feelings that have once held them back. After understanding that the support offered during counseling provides clients the opportunity to position themselves in the place of most potential for emotional wellness, it became inevitable that I would become a counselor. For me, it is an honor to be a part of my client’s journey.
I have a strong belief in the innate human ability to heal and to strive to become the best version of oneself. Consequently, my job is to provide clients with external evidence-based tools and treatment to empower them to find inside of themselves their own ways of independently navigating towards thriving. Every person is different. Placing judgment aside and seeing everyone for who they are allows me to create a safe space for growth, where the client feels supported while developing their authentic self and a stronger sense of belonging within themselves and among others.
Services
Family Therapy, Adolescent Therapy, Child Therapy, Adult Therapy, Couple Therapy, Group Counseling
I provide services in English, Spanish & Portuguese.
Specializations
Based on my own experience, I know how life can draw us away from our authentic selves. Slowly, obstacle after obstacle, we find ourselves living a life that somehow does not represent who we are to the best of our potential. We become hindered by fears and expectations that enclose us in boxes that many times do not belong to us or represent who we are. Being distant from our values, we may feel depressed, anxious, or detached from ourselves, and this can be very painful and isolating. Because of my own journey towards authenticity, I have pursued my career development keeping in mind the goal of helping clients to “unbox” themselves. Below are some of the areas that I have specialized in:
PTSD and trauma processing, EMDR, Anxiety and worry, Depression, Internal family Systems IFS therapy, Interpersonal skills, Relationship conflicts, Decision making skills, Boundary settings, Addictions, Anger management, Guilt and shame processing, Self-esteem development, Mindfulness skills, Communication skills, Parenting skills, Divorce support and recovery, Impulse control, Grief and loss, Marital conflict, Assertiveness and confidence, Prenatal anxiety/depression, Postpartum anxiety/depression, Accomplishment of goals, Life purpose development, Career counseling

My Approch To Counseling
As a counselor, I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can explore their stories, face their fears, and discover their strengths. I consider it an honor to walk alongside individuals as they gain deeper self-understanding and work toward healing. Counseling is a collaborative journey—one that involves exploring patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior that contribute to personal and relational struggles. My passion is helping clients uncover new ways of being, empowering them to embrace the freedom that comes with finding creative solutions to both new and longstanding challenges.
I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples as they navigate life transitions, anxiety, grief, depression, infidelity, and relational stress.
I believe that the path to wellness is unique for each person. My goal is to meet every client where they are, offering support that aligns with their individual experiences and perspectives.
Services
- Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy.
- Adult Therapy
- Couples and Relational Therapy
Specializations
- I have a particular passion for supporting adolescent and adult males in exploring their emotions, unpacking internalized shame, and experiencing a sense of emotional safety—free from judgment, both internal and external. I understand the personal and cultural challenges that can shape how men relate to their emotions and define their self-worth, and I aim to create a space where they can process these struggles openly.
- I am dedicated to working with couples as they seek deeper connection and relational fulfillment. I recognize that couples therapy can feel vulnerable and intimidating, and I strive to create a space where both partners feel heard, valued, and understood. By strengthening emotional awareness, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, couples can navigate disconnection, resentment, fear, and even infidelity—emerging with a renewed sense of closeness and a shared vision for their future.
